Our hotels in Toronto Canada page provides information on the city's regions with suggestions on attractions to see or things to do nearby.
It also links, at the bottom of the page, to our pages of airport hotels and downtown hotels.
Toronto covers a large area and has intense rush hours on its principal routes, whether you're going in or out or just across town.
The Toronto Transit Commission's trains, buses, and streetcars are very efficient, and cost-effective if you're going long distances, but it still makes sense to pick a hotel to suit your purpose as well as your purse.
I've put a link at the bottom of the page for tours and attractions that can help you decide what you want to see during your stay and, therefore, where you may want to stay.
For example, if you're planning to spend time at Canada's Wonderland or the McMichael Art Gallery to the the north and west of the city, then you need Staybridge Suites, Residence Inn, Hilton Suites, Howard Johnsons, Comfort Inn or Holiday Inn -- all in Markham -- or the Monte Carlo Inn at Vaughan.
If your trip takes you to the western suburbs of Toronto, Etobicoke say, or the city of Mississauga, or you think Niagara Wine Country or Royal Botanical Gardens will be an important part of your stay, you need to consider The Old Mill and Spa or any of the airport hotels.
For the eastern suburbs like Scarborough, and attractions like the Science Centre or Metro Toronto Zoo, the Delta East at Kennedy and 401 is a great place to stay. Other hotels include Holiday Inn Express East near the Town Centre.
A little closer into Toronto, but still on the east side, is the Westin Prince Hotel on York Mills Rd.
For downtown Toronto, which includes the Toronto islands, the Hockey Hall of Fame, the Skydome (shown open in this photo from the CN Tower Observation Deck) the theater, shopping and financial districts, here's where you'll find the best located hotels.
And this search box is where you can go straight to some of Toronto's finest hotels and book your stay...
